Hook Journal (2020)

Illustration of Nancy and Jamie from the band Babeheaven for a feature on Hook Journal. My aim was to capture the vibe of their amazing new album and variety of their influences mentioned in the interview within the frame. Check out the interview here!

Secret 7” (2020)

Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. They then openly invite artist of multiple disciplines to create artwork for the 7 tracks. The result is 700 unique records which are exhibited in London before being auctioned, where 100% of profits are donated to Choose Love - Help Refugees. I’m so glad I got involved in the final year!

I drew this piece back in January in response to Koffee’s single ‘Toast’. I absolutely love the song, my aim was to communicate this idea of community coming together for food and celebrating one another, something we’ve not been able to do much in the last year. I’m so glad this vision was accepted into the show and seen by so many people! All 700 entries were sold for auction on eBay with the profits given to charity to aid refugees.

Capturing Live Music Performances

Reportage has always been a fun part of my explorative work and trying to capture the energy of a performance in a still image is definitely a challenge, but when live music is so inspiring, it would be silly to at least not give it a go.
